School Counselor
Jordyn Drabinski
JDrabinski@griswoldpublicschools.org
Hi there! My name is Jordyn Drabinski, and I am the school counselor at Griswold Elementary School. I joined the GES Support team in 2024 and have loved every moment since! I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Springfield College. Before joining the team, I was involved in AmeriCorps, a program designed to support volunteerism and care for the community. While there, I was also able to complete two years of internship in the Springfield, Massachusetts, public school system. In Springfield, I was able to cultivate new relationships, strengthen my counseling identity, and formulate my counseling skills and techniques with K-12 students. I am eager to get to know each student, identify their needs, and help them reach their truest potential at school. School should be a place where students feel safe, confident and happy, and it is my job to ensure they feel this way. I run small groups, lunch bunches, peer mediations, and individual counseling sessions to guarantee students are feeling, doing, and trying their best at school. My interests outside of school include volunteering at animal shelters/horse rescues, spending time with family and friends, and watching sports (Go Celtics!).
School Psychologist
Jamie Anderson
JAnderson@griswoldpublicschools.org
Hi, my name is Jamie Anderson, and I am excited to be the School Psychologist at Griswold Elementary School. I earned my Master of Science in Psychology and my Certificate in School Psychology in 2014. Since then, I have worked as a school psychologist in Pennsylvania, Hawaii, and Connecticut.
As a school psychologist, I support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth. I work closely with teachers, families, and staff to help create a positive school environment and provide strategies that help students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
I truly enjoy working with children and believe that building strong relationships is the foundation for helping them reach their full potential. I also value collaboration, as I believe the best outcomes happen when students, families, and educators work together as a team. I feel very fortunate to be part of the Wolverine's community and look forward to supporting the success and well-being of all our students.
School Social Worker
Alyssa Hancock
AHancock@griswoldpublicschools.org
Hi there! My name is Alyssa Hancock and I am the school social worker at Griswold Elementary School. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Springfield College. I have been actively working in the field since 2016 across multiple settings. Prior to becoming the school social worker, I had experience working in residential programs, substance use programs and in a hospital setting, doing both individualized therapy and family therapy. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with children and adolescents who struggle with mental health and behavioral concerns. I am passionate about my work and strive to help students manage their difficult emotions in a healthy and safe way. My overall goal is to create a safe place that allows the students to explore their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, cutting out negative patterns, and leading them to personal growth. My interests include coaching, decorating my home throughout the seasons, and spending time with loved ones.

Social Emotional Interventionist
Aimee Boyd-Hall
ABoydHall@griswoldpublicschools.org
Hi! My name is Aimee Boyd Hall and I joined the GES Support Team in 2022 as the Social Emotional Interventionist. I come to GES with a decade of student support experience including conflict resolution, behavioral accountability, social skill development, and building confidence through a positive self-image. I grew up in this incredible community and attended Griswold Public Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade where I gained the skills needed to succeed in my education and career. I am happy to be “home” and giving my time and attention to a place that is so special to me. As a parent, I know how difficult it is to raise children in our complicated world, and I am here for you and your family to help your student feel supported in finding themselves and connecting with their peers. My interests include thrift shopping, making crafts, and catching up with friends over coffee.
