Report Student Absence, Tardy Arrivals, Early Dismissal
Email: gesattendance@griswoldpublicschools.org or call the GES Main Office at (860) 376-7610.
- Families need to contact the school by 9am on the day of an absence
- For the first 1-9 absences, families must submit a note to the main office.
- More than 10 absences, please refer to the Attendance Policy in the Student Handbook

Sparkler App
Sparkler is a free, evidence-based mobile application that is available in English and Spanish for all Connecticut families of children ages 0-5 years old. Sparkler has tools to monitor your child’s social emotional, cognitive, communication, and physical development. It includes the Ages and Stages Questionnaire as well as suggestions for play-based learning activities to help support your child’s ongoing development.
You can download the Sparkler App from the Apple Store to your iPhone or iPad or the Google Play Store if you have an Android phone or tablet.
