Principal's Corner

Griswold Elementary School serves children from Preschool through Grade 4, with nearly 700 students enriching the halls of our beautiful school. We take great pride in our school community and are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our families. Their dedication, generosity, and active participation in events foster a united GES community.

GES shares a campus with Griswold Middle School and Griswold High School. It is unique and allows us the opportunity to share learning experiences across many grade levels. Each and every year we experience an exceptional school year, with students and teachers showing enthusiasm and a keen interest in exploring new and engaging subjects.

Research demonstrates that Social-Emotional programming enhances students' connection to school, improves classroom climate, and elevates academic achievement. At GES, our consistent approach from Preschool through Grade 4 has a positive impact on all students. We believe that optimal learning occurs in environments where individuals feel safe and valued, with their mental and emotional needs met. We promote respect, caring, inclusiveness, integrity, responsibility, and courage among all our students. The "Kindness in the Classroom" initiative helps us convey this vital message throughout our community.
